More Breaking News: Supreme Court Justice Souter Retiring

WASHINGTON DC – News media reports say Supreme Court Justice David Hackett Souter plans to retire from the Court at the end of the court's term in June.
Speculation that the 69-year-old justice will be stepping down has been fueled by his failure to appoint law clerks from the fall term.
National Public Radio is reporting that Souter has informed the White House of his intentions and will remain on the bench until a successor is confirmed.

About Souter:
Appointed to the Court by Republican President George H. W. Bush in 1990, he usually votes with the more liberal wing on the Roberts court.

My Comment:
Bet Obama, Pelosi, and Reid can find someone a lot more Liberal Looney Toon Left to appoint!
